Find Your Place in Our Community
Environmental Control Committee
Making changes to your outdoor property? More than likely you will need approval from the Environmental Control Committee. As part of this committee, your tasks will include approving all building improvements, tree removal, outdoor architectural design, signs, and more.
Environmental Request Form
Events Committee
BINGO, pot lucks, beach parties, OSU vs Michigan party, St. Patrick’s Day party, 5K run, holiday parties, and more! If you love to plan and celebrate, this is a great way to put those organizational skills to work.
Finance Committee
As part of this committee, you will be responsible for preparing the yearly budget for review and Board approval, as well as providing insight to yearly expenses in relation to the budget.
Fish & Lake Committee
Fishing and outdoor aficionados can find a place on this committee heading up community concerns such as fish health and stocking the lake. If you join this committee you will assist the Association with boating and fishing regulations. Fish & Lake leads fundraising opportunities by operating the kitchen during community garage sales and by collecting and recycling aluminum cans.
Garden & Landscaping Committee
If you have a green thumb and/or an eye for landscape design, this could be the perfect place for you. This group is very active in maintaining the grounds and gardens. Another great organizational group, you can find opportunities here for planning community clean-ups and working on projects like the walking trail located in the green spaces of Cinnamon Lake.
Governance Committee
Working with the Association Board, as part of this group you will help with proposed changes and additions to documents and provide insight when drafting or amending policies or procedures.
Long Range Planning Committee
“A goal without a plan is just a wish.” Planners and visionaries thrive here. In this group you will work to establish a plan to meet the members’ wishes for improvements to our community. LRP Status Report
Neighborhood Watch Committee
Our motto is, “See something? Say something!” As part of this committee you will work with local law enforcement to keep our community aware of any concerning or suspicious activity.
Nominations & Elections Committee
Every year the Association holds an annual meeting, and members of this committee are an integral part of that process. Along with assisting in bringing forth eligible candidates to fill board vacancies, you will also approve board applications, prepare ballots for mailing and count (and recount) the returned ballots.
Recreational Committee
Much like the Events Committee, members of this group like to have fun! In this group you will provide recreational outlets for Cinnamon Lake members including wiffle ball, scavenger hunts, and sports equipment at the lodge area.
Veterans Group
Open to veterans, join us on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month. We provide support and fellowship to each other.
